The Best Dressed Stars in NAACP Awards History

The 56th NAACP Image Awards are set to take place on Saturday at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, Calif. This prestigious event, which honors outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in motion pictures, television, music and literature, will be broadcast live on BET and simulcast on CBS57. Comedian Deon Cole will host the ceremony.

Zendaya, 2023

Zendaya looked to the Versace Atelier archives for her appearance at the 2023 NAACP Image Awards, opting for a spring 2002 collection dress.

Lupita Nyong’o glowed on the 2014 NAACP Image Awards red carpet. The actress arrived in an orange gown from Givenchy’s pre-fall 2014 collection featuring a plunging neckline and pleated skirt.
